Do you want to help steer professionalism while staying close to practice?

We are seeking two engaged and professionally strong professional leaders who will help develop our residential communities and create the best framework for both residents and staff. With us you will play a central role in professional development and have the opportunity to translate knowledge into action in close collaboration with staff, residents and management.

Who are we?

We are a residential care facility for adults with reduced mental and physical functioning. Spread over four services, 74 residents live here with different dreams, needs, resources and prerequisites. The residents have varying support needs, where the support can be both compensating and activating.

Our main task is to support that each resident can live a good, safe and meaningful life. We believe in self-determination, involvement and possibilities rather than limitations and that the pedagogical effort should be meaningful for the individual.

Community is important to us. It can be community in a larger or smaller group, community between residents or the close community between resident and staff. There must be room for both community and the individual.

How we work professionally

We work systematically and with a high professional awareness. We base our work on the individual resident's needs and work among other things with our approved methods, relationship work, Marte Meo, documentation, reflection, supervision and ongoing professional sparring. We are moving toward knowledge of and implementation of LA2U.

We see professional development as something we create together. Therefore it is important for us that our professional leaders are close to practice, ask questions, create reflection and help translate professional knowledge into action.

About the position

As a professional leader you will be part of a management team consisting of three professional leaders and a manager. Here you will be an important part of our professional development. You will have a central role in supporting employees' professionalism and ensuring alignment between residents' needs, the pedagogical practice and our shared goals.

Your tasks together with the management team will include

• to support and develop the social-pedagogical professionalism
• to provide professional sparring and guidance to staff
• to contribute to refining pedagogical initiatives and creating a common direction
• to support the work with documentation, goals and follow-up
• to contribute to reflection on practice and learning within the staff group
• to help develop methods, workflows and professional approaches
• to have an eye for both the individual resident and the community
• to collaborate closely with colleagues and other management across our residential communities

We are looking for someone who

• is a trained social educator
• has experience with or an interest in working with adults with intellectual disabilities
• ideally has experience and knowledge about residents with autism, ADHD and other co-diagnoses or complex support needs
• has strong relationship skills and can create calm, overview and clarity
• can translate theory and professional knowledge into concrete practice
• is curious, reflective and willing to challenge practice in a constructive way
• can communicate clearly and create buy-in around professional decisions
• has an eye for the staff's different competencies and can help bring them into play
• thrives with days not always being the same and can be flexible when residents' or the organization's needs require it

You must be close to practice

We expect you to want to be visible and accessible in everyday life. This also means that you must be able to work outside normal working hours when the need arises. This could be in connection with professional situations, meetings, events or needs that are best addressed when you are present outside ordinary working hours.
