About Skoven and A-house

Skoven and A-house are part of Østruplund – a specialized 24-hour and activity offer for adults with developmental disabilities under the Social Services Act §§ 108 and 104. The service is particularly targeted at citizens with a placement order or special needs in relation to behavior.

Common to the citizens is that they need support and guidance regarding social, emotional and behavioral challenges. Part of the target group are convicted individuals with developmental disabilities, which makes the task both complex and professionally very exciting.

Skoven is normed for 13 citizens, and the internal activity and social program employs about 35 citizens. Østruplund is a department in the Specialized Center of Southern Denmark, which consists of several departments spread in Otterup, Nørre Åby, Fredericia, Ribe and Jels.

Your role as professional leader

You are employed as a professional leader at both Skoven and A-house and you divide your time between the two departments according to a separate agreement. Your immediate supervisor is the department head, with whom you have close cooperation on both professional development and daily operations.

As a professional leader

• You lead in daily work and are visible in everyday life
• You create professional direction, overview and coherence in the efforts around the citizens
• You are a central sparring partner for both staff and the department head
• You have an important role in translating shared professional ambitions into concrete practice
• You combine professional leadership tasks with citizen-centered tasks, where you participate in the norming as needed

Your main tasks

You will among other things be responsible for

• Set professional direction and create overview in daily operations
• Provide professional sparring to staff about sub-goals, § 141 orders, citizen descriptions, health plans etc.
• Coordinate and facilitate team meetings
• Support and develop health-related efforts
• Further develop the pedagogical and health-related work around the citizens
• Maintain ongoing contact with social workers and other partners
• Ensure quality in documentation and professional efforts – both social and health-related
• Plan and conduct staff, status and tariff negotiation meetings in collaboration with the department head
• Be responsible for students in collaboration with a supervisor
• Be responsible for induction of new staff
• Exercise present and professionally supportive leadership in everyday life

We are looking for someone who

• Is educated as a pedagogue – preferably with experience from e.g. coordinator function, professional key person or similar
• Is approachable, dialog-driven and reflective in your practice
• Has strong collaboration skills and naturally shares knowledge with colleagues
• Can create overview and work structured – even when many balls are in the air
• Takes responsibility and makes autonomous decisions within the agreed framework
• Has good written communication skills
• Is curious about professional development and continuous learning
• Would preferably have experience with the target group or overnight area – an advantage but not a requirement
• Personally you thrive in an environment with both high professionalism and unpredictability, and you are motivated to lead, create direction and bring staff with you in changes.
• Criminal record will be obtained

Workplace and working hours

Østruplund is located in Nordfyn in scenic surroundings at Klintebjergvej 75, 5450 Otterup. Skoven and A-house are 2 out of four departments at Østruplund. Read more on the website

The position is 37 hours per week.

The distribution between professional leadership tasks and citizen-centered tasks is determined in cooperation with the department head

It is a prerequisite that you have a driver's license for a regular car

Employment

• Start: December 1, 2026
• Salary: According to current collective agreement
• The Region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in https://www.okportal.dk/media/3qzfrimd/32381.pdf .
