About the job and the tasks

At Lindved School we are looking for a teacher with strong mathematical subject competencies and a large commitment to the development of mathematics education. We want a colleague who is passionate about the subject and who wants to help shape the direction of mathematics across the school.

The position currently includes mathematics teaching in the middle school on the 4th and 5th grades, and we would like you to also have competencies in science/technology, as this is also part of the timetable. If you have other science subjects, we will also consider that.

Be part of developing the mathematics subject at Lindved School. Mathematics occupies a central place with us. We want to create a coherent thread through the entire school journey, strengthen students' academic development and be curious about how we can become even better. Therefore we are looking for a teacher who is either already trained as a mathematics mentor or who would like and has the potential to become one. Together with our mathematics mentor in the lower school you will play a central role in the work of:

• Setting the subject direction for mathematics teaching at the school.
• Supporting colleagues' work with strong mathematics learning environments.
• Creating coherence between early years, middle years and upper years.
• Bringing new knowledge, research and didactic perspectives into play.
• Participating in and representing the school in the municipal mathematics network.
• Helping to develop the school's mathematics-related culture.

If you do not yet have the mentor qualification, we are happy to look at the possibility that you can take it as part of the position.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment according to applicable collective agreement, with the possibility of negotiating qualification and function-based pay.

The position is full-time and desired to be filled by January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible.
