Mathematics and science teacher for a youth environment at Broskolen, Årslev

About the job

We are looking for a teacher for a maternity substitute in a 37-hour position in our youth environment (6th – 9th grade) at department Bøgehøj from January 1, 2027 – January 1, 2028.

Broskolen is a large and diverse public school in Faaborg-Midtfyn municipality. We have about 675 happy students distributed across department Bøgehøj (0th-9th grade) and department Rolfsted (0th-6th grade).

We are an exciting, inclusive, development-oriented and dynamic school, working to become a school that is for all children.

This school year we are in the process of building a new science room; a geography- and biology-room, which is directly connected to a large outdoor laboratory courtyard with many exciting applications in the subjects. In addition, we are located within convenient cycling distance to the nearby municipal gear bank with good outdoor and science facilities.

We are a serious and professional workplace, with a skilled and engaged staff who place students’ academic progress, well-being, formation and opportunities for participation high. At the same time, our way of being together is often characterized by smiles and laughter.

We work to develop and qualify our pedagogical practice with a focus on creating community-building learning environments. Therefore we look at our didactic and pedagogical practice in a way that creates opportunities for participation for all students.

• You have subject-area competence in mathematics and science
• You can lead students to the exit examination in science
• You have a positive outlook and a good sense of humor
• You work from an appreciative and curious approach with a strong resource perspective
• A desire to develop a school where there are opportunities for participation for all children

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
