We are seeking an engaged mathematics teacher for the middle grades. It is an advantage if you can also teach one of the natural science subjects – physics/chemistry or biology – but mathematics is the primary task.

Enghavegård School

Mathematics in the middle grades

You will become part of the middle grades where we work purposefully to develop students' mathematical understanding, curiosity and problem-solving skills. We highly prioritize joint preparation and sparring so that the teaching is varied and meaningful.

From this school year we are working with a new organization: Five fixed adults are attached to the three classes in each grade.

That means we tackle the task together. When a colleague is absent, the students generally meet a familiar adult, and in daily life the organization provides much better opportunities for co-teaching, group work and flexible learning communities.
