Mathematics teacher for 4th grade at Østervangsskolen

We have a vacancy ready in our middle school for 4th grade. The timetable consists of mathematics, science and technology, physical education, and a number of co-teacher hours. The position is permanent and full-time. The position is available to fill from 1/12 2026. All hours are for the 4th grade – where you will be part of a strong team. We emphasize that you know your classroom management and are prepared for close teamwork with the team’s four other teachers.

Østervangsskolen has about 620 students, about 90 staff, is divided into a primary department with after-school care (SFO) and a growth class, a middle school department and a high school department with three talent classes in music and two group arrangements for children with anxiety/school refusal. In addition, we are developing intermediate forms that cover all levels of the school.

At the school you will become part of a strong working community where everyone contributes and where the students’ learning and versatile development are in focus. We are working towards becoming good at working together as professionals. We try to be a school where you are not alone with what is difficult. You will encounter a school where there is room for both head and body. We place high priority on creative, innovative, and musical elements and we know that our strength here is part of the basis for our strong academic profile.

A guiding principle at Østervangsskolen is that “it should make sense.” Both in relation to the students’ learning, the collaboration with parents and colleagues, and in the planning of the individual teacher’s work.
