At Trekløverskolen, Græse Bakkeby department, we are looking for a trained teacher with strong competencies in mathematics and preferably nature/science technology, who wants to be part of a school where community, academic rigor and opportunities to participate for all children are central.

We want a teacher who is passionate about mathematics and preferably nature/science technology, and who wants to create teaching where children have the opportunity to be active, investigative and curious.

You may indeed be keen to move teaching out of books and into real life. To pose questions that do not necessarily have only one path to the answer. To let the students try themselves, argue, collaborate and discover connections.

We believe that an investigative approach can help create more entry points to the subjects and more opportunities to participate. Children learn differently, and therefore teaching must be able to do different things as well.

• Sees team collaboration, co-teaching and joint preparation as a strength.
• Wants to help develop learning environments so that more children have the opportunity to succeed in them.

In fact, we think it’s quite exciting when there is something we need to investigate together.

This applies to both mathematics and science teaching and our professional work with children.

When a child has difficulty participating, we are focused on investigating what the child is signaling, what the community needs, and what we adults can change in the framework and our practice.
