About the job

At Askov-Malt School we are seeking a math teacher with strong professional qualifications for our fantastic early primary school.

We are looking for you who are passionate about mathematics teaching and at the same time have an eye for creating participation opportunities for all children.

For us, strong communities are the foundation of everything we do.

We are proud of a high social capital among staff, where collaboration, trust and joy at work create the best conditions for both children and adults.

We are seeking a teacher who is curious about their own practice and motivated to develop the teaching together with colleagues.

We believe that we become more skilled when we share knowledge, ask questions about each other's practice and dare to see what we do not ourselves see.

At Askov-Malt School we value relationships highly. This includes the relationship with the students, the parents and each other. We want to create a everyday life characterized by presence, professionalism and collaboration, and we look forward to having a new colleague join the team who will help make a good school even better.

With us you become part of a strong committed community where professionalism and well-being go hand in hand, and where you never have to face the task alone.

We offer

  • A strong collegial community with high well-being and great job satisfaction
  • A leadership and colleagues who back you up, spar and help when you need it
  • A school with 375 curious, engaged and life-spirited students and the municipality's highest well-being
  • Positive and interested parents who support the school and their children's learning
  • 40 engaged and development-oriented staff who lift together
  • A school from 0-6 grades with an accompanying after-school club (SFO)
  • A strong development culture focusing on academic quality, reflection and collaboration
  • Opportunity to shape the school's continued development together with skilled colleagues

We hope that you

  • Is a clear and appreciative classroom leader who creates safe learning communities
  • Has strong mathematics subject competencies and a desire to develop them together with others
  • Believes that all children do their best, and meets them with a positive view of children
  • Prioritizes close and trusting collaboration with parents
  • Works structurally, takes responsibility and maintains an overview in a busy everyday life
  • Actively contributes to team collaboration and wishes to develop both own and the school's practice
  • Is curious, solution-oriented and sees opportunities rather than limitations

If this sounds like something for you, we look forward to hearing from you.

You are very welcome to contact headteacher Christian Dünne at phone 79 96 55 22 or deputy headteacher Maria Rudolph at phone 40 17 99 65 to hear more about the position.

We also happily invite you for a tour and a cup of coffee so you can experience the school and the community up close.

The application deadline is October 26 at 12:00. Interviews will be held on October 27 in the afternoon.
