One of our skilled teachers has chosen to move into management, while another has been offered a position closer to home. Therefore we are now looking for two new, competent and relationship-building teachers who are passionate about creating a good school for our children and young people.

We succeed in retaining our many capable staff. Last school year we had only one resignation among our teaching group of nearly 60 teachers and kindergarten class leaders. Vacant teaching positions at Rødovre School therefore do not grow on trees.

We are looking for

Mathematics teacher and class teacher for 4th grade

You will become part of the team around our 4th grade. Here you work closely with experienced and skilled teachers and pedagogues who are passionate about students’ learning and development. The year-group team holds a fixed weekly team meeting on Thursdays from 12:15-13:45.

You and the Danish teacher share the class teacher function in the class where you teach mathematics and nature/technology.

Your other subjects and competencies will also come into play and can be included in the teaching depending on your subject profile.

Mathematics teacher and class teacher for 8th grade

You will become part of the team around our 8th grade. Here you are together with experienced and skilled teachers in our lower secondary team, which has close collaboration with fixed weekly scheduled Thursday team meetings from 14:00-15:30.

You and the Danish teacher share the class teacher function in the class where you teach mathematics.

Here too, your other academic competencies will come into play.

You will become part of a strong and well-functioning teaching colleagues with people of various ages and backgrounds. We have a strong culture of collaboration, where we help and support each other.

Each year group has a fixed scheduled team meeting once a week. As a new employee you will get a mentor to help you get off to a good start.

Both positions are, as a rule, full-time positions with employment from 1 December.

In one or possibly both of the above positions there can be a T&I advisor role at the school.

As a technology and innovation teacher at Rødovre School you work proactively and outreach with guidance, co-teaching and cross-disciplinary collaboration, where technology & innovation should support and develop other disciplines. The teaching is planned, implemented and evaluated in collaboration with subject teachers, pedagogues, subject- or year-teams. In addition there is the opportunity for deepening in concrete technologies with the design and innovation process as a didactic framework.

The work with technology and innovation will take place in close and committed collaboration with the school’s other technology and innovation teacher as well as other key academic personnel in the school’s advisor team.

In cooperation with the management you put technology & innovation on the agenda for all children and adults at the school.

In addition you will also join a strong professional community with the municipality’s other technology and innovation teachers centred around the municipality’s TekX, located close to Rødovre School. There will be approximately 10 weekly uv-lessons to the above.
