Mechanic for Park & Road - Skive Municipality

One of our mechanics has chosen to seek new challenges. If a versatile daily routine with both large and small machines suits you, then we have the job.

About the job

As a mechanic you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our larger equipment. This may include construction machinery, tractors, road graders and snowplows. We have a large fleet of machines with many different makes. The vast majority of our fleet is well maintained and from newer dates. You will be troubleshooting and you will be responsible for carrying out the repairs yourself. Occasionally you will also do light welding work.

No two days are the same, and often planned tasks will have to yield to urgent tasks. You will contact the user of the machine and arrange appointments with them yourself. In the workshop you will join a team of 2 other mechanics who work together on the shared task solving. In the winter season you will become part of the mechanic-winter duty, keeping winter equipment ready to run 24-7 every day of the week.
