Negotiation Consultant for HR, South Jutland Hospital

About the position

As a Negotiation Consultant in HR, Law and Negotiation you will play a central role in ensuring good and sustainable agreements for the hospital. You will be part of a strong professional environment and enter into a close partnership with the team's second Negotiation Consultant and two lawyers.

The future calls for increased development in the area, and you together will be involved in both solving the tasks and developing the area in step with the hospital's needs and the changes that follow.

Your main tasks will include

• Wage negotiations and negotiation of pre-agreements in close collaboration with managers, trade union representatives and organizations with negotiating rights
• Advice and sparring to managers on public collective agreements, pre-agreements, salary and employment terms
• Preparation, quality assurance and implementation of agreements and guidelines
• Data extraction and analysis – e.g. for decision proposals, follow-up and annual wage negotiations
• As a Negotiation Consultant you will also take on tasks where you prepare and quality assure case presentations and decision documents for the executive, management team and MED-committee. In addition, you will be an active part of the ongoing development and maintenance of the intranet, guidelines, guidelines and ad-hoc tasks within the area. We expect you to want to participate in relevant networks where you contribute to knowledge sharing and development of practice across the Region of Southern Denmark.

The position includes both classic negotiation tasks and opportunities to work with development, analysis and process tasks – and you will have good opportunities to influence both the task solution and the area's further development together with the team. There will be possibilities for further education and relevant courses.

About you

We are seeking a Negotiation Consultant with a development-oriented perspective who wants to develop the area together with the team for the benefit of the hospital.

You thrive in the role of Negotiation Consultant and are good at building trusting relationships – both with managers, union representatives and the organizations with negotiating rights. You see collaboration as a necessity and want to be an active part of a team and a department where people help each other, share knowledge and solve tasks together.

You have experience with wage negotiations, collective agreements and negotiating pre-agreements, preferably from a public organization. You are comfortable understanding complex agreements and rules, and you can translate them into clear and usable solutions for the hospital.

• Have an interest in data and analysis and can translate numbers into usable knowledge and decision support
• Work in a structured, thorough and independent manner – while actively contributing to close collaboration in the team
• Communicate clearly and precisely – both in writing (e.g. case presentations, agreement texts, guidelines) and orally (e.g. in meetings and negotiations)
• We expect that you have a strong professional background and relevant experience with negotiation, ideally in a public context. Your educational background can vary – e.g. an academic degree or a trade/administrative education.

About HR and Law and Negotiation

In HR we are a total of 26 employees distributed across 5 teams. HR strengthens retention and recruitment by collaborating, supporting and advising managers and employees at Sønderjylland Hospital. The tasks in HR include recruitment, payroll administration, occupational health and safety, training, personnel law and negotiation as well as strategy and development tasks. Together we contribute to improvements and strategic development of the hospital's HR-related focus areas. In HR our values are to be decent, proactive and curious – both together and in our task solving.

You will become part of the Law and Negotiation Team, which consists of two lawyers, of whom one is also team coordinator, and two Negotiation Consultants – including you. We work closely together to solve the tasks. In addition, we collaborate with the hospital's management, department heads, unit leaders and our colleagues in HR to ensure legally robust and practically applicable solutions with emphasis on high professional standards and integrity in task solving.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours and is available from February 1, 2027 or by agreement.

The Region is obliged to inform you of the start salary for the position. This will be done in connection with the invitation to interview.

Employment is conditional on a satisfactory criminal record check.

Workplace

The position is anchored in HR, Sønderjylland Hospital, Kresten Phillipsens Vej 15, 6200 Aabenraa. There may be meetings and activities at other units in the Region of Southern Denmark.
