About the job

Would you like to help strengthen social workers' pay through negotiation, advice and development of local pay negotiations? Do you have experience with pay and employment terms, and are you motivated by delivering results through negotiation and collaboration? Then you may be our new colleague in the Danish Association of Social Workers' pay team.

About the position The Danish Association of Social Workers is looking for a negotiating consultant for a newly established pay team in Advisory and Negotiation. The team will strengthen local pay negotiations in municipalities, regions and the state.

You will advise shop stewards, develop methods and tools and contribute to strategies that improve social workers' pay conditions. You will have close contact with shop stewards, colleagues and other partners – and the opportunity to influence the team’s work.

Your tasks Your main tasks are to

  • advise shop stewards and joint shop stewards on local pay negotiations and pay strategies
  • use pay data and analyses to strengthen concrete negotiations
  • develop methods, materials and tools for local pay negotiations
  • teach and communicate knowledge about pay and negotiation
  • contribute to development projects and translate the association's goals into results for members.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for an engaged consultant who combines professional insight with practical problem solving and good collaboration skills.

We imagine that you

  • have experience with pay negotiations, wage formation or advising on pay and employment terms
  • have knowledge of collective agreements and pay negotiations in the public labor market
  • can analyse pay data and translate them into concrete opportunities
  • communicate complex topics clearly – both verbally and in writing
  • build good relationships and work independently, in a structured and proactive manner.

It is a plus if you have advised shop stewards, worked with pay statistics or developed negotiation tools, but you do not need to know it all from day one.

Who are we? You will become part of Advisory and Negotiation and have your daily connection to the pay team. We work closely together, share knowledge and help each other to achieve results for members.

What do we offer? You will get a professionally challenging and meaningful position with the opportunity to influence our work with pay and local negotiations.

We offer, among other things

  • good opportunities for professional and personal development
  • close collaboration with engaged colleagues and shop stewards
  • a flexible workplace with the possibility of remote work in accordance with applicable rules
  • an informal working environment with room for sparring, initiative and new ideas.

Workplace: Your base is Copenhagen, and you should expect travel in the role.

Working hours: 36 hours per week

Salary and employment terms: Determined according to the Danish Association of Social Workers' applicable collective agreement and based on your qualifications and experience.

Application If you want to know more about the position, you are welcome to contact professional head Andreas Dam Lukowski at telephone 29678646 or [email protected] .

Submit your application and CV no later than Friday, 13 November at 12:00.

We expect to conduct the first round of interviews on Monday, 16 November. A second interview is expected to be held on Friday, 20 November, and we hope to fill the position by 1 January 2027.

We look forward to hearing from you.
