Night shift at Pedersvænge

Are you passionate about working with people and seeking new challenges in your working life? Then you might become part of Pedersvænge's night team. Pedersvænge is a social-psychiatric residential facility with room for 37 residents aged 18-70 who are referred under the Social Services Act §107 or §108 with varying psychological problems, distributed over two teams. Our work is based on a recovery-oriented and harm-reduction approach with the aim of providing the best possible and most meaningful support based on a holistic way of thinking.

When you are part of the night crew at Pedersvænge, work is across the two teams, so you will always have two colleagues to spar with. In addition you will experience close collaboration with the rest of the house, distributed among a team lead/basic staff and contact persons, etc.

You will perform the following tasks in close collaboration with colleagues

Tasks

• Safety-promoting conversations.
• Supervision of residents.
• Support residents to find calm.
• Administration of medications as needed.
• Document in Nexus.
• Ccare tasks may occur to a lesser extent.
• In general the place is a calm environment - also at night – but you must be ready to call in an on-call doctor and the police when needed.
• Handle practical ad hoc tasks.

We imagine that you have a pedagogical or health-care education or similar, but it is not a requirement. You can also be a care worker or a student. The most important for us is that you have the right values and experience.
