Psychiatric nurse for the Acute Team in Herning Municipality

The psychiatric acute team is part of nursing in Herning Municipality and has existed since 2019. We are 3 psychiatric nurses and are looking for a colleague.

In the Acute Team the goal is to prevent and avoid hospitalization, as well as contribute to competence development across the municipality. The Psychiatric Acute Team makes it possible for citizens to get easier access to psychiatric nursing – in acute and sub-acute phases.

The Acute Team contributes with support for difficult and complex citizens, nursing assessments of psychiatric conditions, development of a special approach, teaching and sparring.

We have a wide range of different partners with different tasks – including internally in the municipality, Region Hospital Gødstrup, the general practitioners, on-call doctors, social nurses, housing support workers, police and the prehospital service.

We are seeking a colleague with solid knowledge of psychiatry and with the willingness to solve the above tasks.

We expect from you

• Solid and broad psychiatric experience, preferably at least 2 years
• That you have good pedagogical and communicative skills, as well as a high degree of independence and openness
• Are prepared to meet the citizen with respect, professionalism and responsibility
• That you want to teach – always together with a colleague

The practical

• Office at Rehabilitation Center Herning, Brændgaardvej 20B.
• Permanent position of 37 hours in day/evening shifts.
• Weekend shift in the evening every 4 weeks.
• Day shift 8.00-16.00. Evening shift 14.00-22.00.
• Start as soon as possible or by 1 January 2027.
• Salary according to applicable collective agreement with DSR.
