The position is initially full-time, but we are flexible regarding your desired hours. The working hours are primarily day shifts, with weekend shifts about every 3rd weekend.

• is a licensed nurse and wants to make a difference for elderly residents
• is passionate about citizen-centered nursing and sees the relationship with the resident as an important part of the professional work
• works systematically and focuses on quality and documentation

• can maintain overview and prioritize in a day with many different tasks

Your tasks will include

• execution and coordination of nursing care for the center's residents
• assessment, planning and follow-up on complex nursing issues
• medication management and documentation
• close collaboration with residents, relatives, general practitioners, hospitals and other partners
• professional sparring with social- and health-care assistants, social- and health aides as well as other colleagues
• contributing to creating safety, quality of life and dignity for each resident

About Center Åbakken

Center Åbakken is a care center with two units consisting of 30 general care apartments and 10 apartments particularly suitable for residents with dementia.

We work from the individual resident's wishes, resources and needs. Our goal is to create a safe and meaningful everyday life through high professionalism, presence and respectful relationships.

Employment terms

Salaries and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

Commencement on January 1, 2027 or by agreement. There will be an opportunity to start earlier.
