We are seeking, as of 1.1.2027, a nurse for the Department of Health Promotion and Prevention at the Health Center Vesthimmerland.

The position is in the Department Citizen Health, which works with interventions under the Health Act § 119. This position will focus on citizens within patient-centered prevention, specifically Diabetes, Lung disease, and Cancer areas. In addition, there will also be tasks within citizen-centered prevention. In the tasks, there will be close collaboration with physiotherapists, dietitians and nurse colleagues.

The department consists of 17 staff with different health professional backgrounds such as nurses, physiotherapists, dietitians or bachelor degrees in nursing and health. In addition to patient and citizen-centered prevention, the department also includes preventive home visits.

Health Center Vesthimmerland also houses the Department of Community Rehabilitation, and both departments share a close professional and collegial community.

• Are a nurse
• Can provide individual guidance
• Can teach in groups and are comfortable in the teaching role
• Participate in training sessions, where you apply your nursing professionalism
• Have experience with citizens who have diabetes, lung disease or cancer
• Have interest in, and preferably experience with the target groups and in joining a multidisciplinary team
• Can use IT in guidance, documentation and communication
• Are willing to flexible working hours if needed
• Have a positive view of people, are engaged and respectful
• Contribute to maintaining and developing a good professional and social environment

Salary and employment terms

The salary is determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

The position is a fixed-term appointment for 37 hours in connection with a maternity leave.

The position runs until 1 September 2027
