Nurse sought for a permanent position at Frederiksberg Municipality's Substance Abuse Center

Frederiksberg Municipality's Substance Abuse Center is seeking an engaged nurse for a permanent position of 32 hours per week with start on 01.01.2027 or as soon as possible.

The position is anchored in our health-care team, where the primary tasks are to manage the daily operations related to various tasks in connection with medication delivery in the drug and alcohol area. You will be an important part of a multidisciplinary social and health care professional environment.

You meet citizens with different challenges and life experiences. Common to them is the desire for change – and here you play a central role in creating safe, professional and motivating frameworks for treatment and development.

Your primary tasks will include

• Perform health-care treatment according to SUL § 142 and SEL § 101/142 in collaboration with the other staff.
• Participate in treatment conferences.
• Hold an outpatient function with daily medication delivery and associated observation/control.
• Responsible for the medicine cabinet, including counting, checking and ordering medicine.
• Handle medicines from the pharmacy as well as return medicines.
• Contact person to the pharmacy for changes, orders and missed deliveries.
• To a lesser extent perform outbound tasks, including escorting to examinations and treatment.
• Carry out clinical measurements and follow-up, including BT, BS, HGB, Hepatitis C.

• Are a licensed nurse – preferably with experience in substance abuse treatment, psychiatry or community nursing, but this is not a requirement

Who are we?

Frederiksberg Municipality's Substance Abuse Center consists of three teams with a total of 29 employees. We work from a recovery- and rehabilitative approach, where the citizen's own wishes, resources and goals are the starting point for treatment.

We believe the best solutions are created in collaboration, and we work closely with citizens, relatives, municipal colleagues and external partners.
