About the job

If you want to be part of a humorous, professionally grounded and welcoming staff group, then read on.

Our colleague has sought new challenges, so you now have the opportunity to become part of a well-functioning staff group and a strong collegial community at Recovery and Operation, Ward 23, Department of Anesthesia, Pain Management and Respiratory Support .

We are seeking a motivated and positive nurse starting 1.12.26 for 32-37 hours. Working hours vary between 7:30 and 20:00, with on-call duties from 20:00 to 23:00. The department is open Monday to Friday.

Our ward provides post-anesthesia nursing care for inpatients who have undergone spinal or eye surgery. We also carry out a wide range of day-surgery functions for eye patients, MR scans of children, dental patients and the placement of PEG tubes.

Everyday life is characterized by varying busyness in an environment with primarily elective pre- and postoperative nursing care and usually short patient pathways. Our ward is involved in several quality development projects, as well as the Region's continuing education in Recovery Nursing. In addition, we have nursing students and radiography students.

Our nursing is based on Rigshospitalet's ambition for nursing, the nursing reference framework Fundamentals Of Care – FOC, and family-centered care, therefore one of our core tasks is establishing a close and trusting relationship between staff and patient/relatives.

Who are we: We are a ward consisting of 17 nurses in the age range from early 30s to mid-60s. We are a staff group with experience, energy and a good amount of humor. We place a high value on professionalism and enjoy being challenged. We focus on good collaboration and a positive work environment, both across disciplines and internally in the ward. The professional development is prioritized highly, but there is also room for fun and games – we believe one thing does not exclude the other.

Our values are rooted in

  • Mutual respect, openness and honesty towards each other.
  • Open communication and constructive criticism.

What can we offer you

  • An inspiring work environment where collaboration and development are essential
  • A close and supportive collegial community where we share knowledge and experiences
  • A good and humorous atmosphere where we have time to laugh - also on busy days
  • Individual onboarding with fixed mentors/contacts

Who are you

  • Someone who is passionate about creating a good relationship, and performing professional nursing care for both children, adults and their relatives in the short patient pathway.
  • Someone who actively contributes to the ward's nursing professional development.
  • An experienced and caring nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Someone who sees the value in a good work environment and contributes to a positive atmosphere.
  • Someone who values humor and takes responsibility for their own professionalism and effort.

Salary and terms of employment Salary and terms follow the Danish Health Collective agreement for non-managerial staff within the Health Collective’s area between the parties, including the Danish Nurses Organization and Regions’ Pay and Tariff Board, with pay placement as a nurse without a specialist education.
