About the job

Can you bring together social-pedagogical and health-professional approaches to a higher unit, and do you love to teach others? At Center for Dementia – Lindehusene we are looking for nurses who are curious and professionally reflective.

With us you have the opportunity to make a huge difference for citizens with complex dementia trajectories. Together with your other colleagues you will take care of all aspects of the citizen's life, in a multidisciplinary environment with a focus on citizens' resources and needs.

Who are you, and what will you do?

As a nurse with us you must be able to support, guide and teach your colleagues in daily life, as well as ensure that the nursing professional input is strengthened.

You will in everyday life be attached to a department. As a nurse you are part of the daily nursing professional task solving close to the citizens, but you will also have a special coordinating role with professional responsibility in daily life. You shall, among other things, help quality assure all tasks within treatment, care and nursing in collaboration with the other professions. You will join a professional community together with our quality nurse.

To fill the role we expect you to be a trained nurse and have a desire to share your professionalism, preferably with broad experience from primary or secondary sector.

You must want to be close to our lovely residents – this is not a "desk job" – you must be there where nursing is complex and requires special health professional assessment and action.

Additionally we wish that our new colleague

  • actively selects the citizen group
  • can work independently, take initiative and responsibility
  • has flair for cross-disciplinary collaboration and quality assurance of health-professional documentation
  • is enthusiastic about uplifting everyone around them
  • manages to act in dilemmas between high-quality nursing and the citizens' own wishes and right to self-determination
  • is a trained clinical supervisor or has the courage to become one
  • has dementia knowledge and experience

We would like you to have an interest in being or becoming a knowledge person within dementia. See the attached file for the job description.
