Nutrition assistant or cook for the cozy and modern Ryholtgård care home

Are you a skilled nutrition assistant, cook or similar and want to make organic and climate-friendly food for our 55 residents? Do you have knowledge of - or interest in - nursing home kitchens, where we preferably make all food from scratch, and based on the residents' wishes? Together with the rest of the kitchen team can ensure that residents get good dining experiences every day. Here we support each other and lift as a team, which helps create the good atmosphere. We hope you want to contribute to ongoing sparring and development so we maintain the quality we cherish here at Ryholtgård.

We would like you to be naturally service-minded, and want to collaborate across disciplines with the rest of the house, so we all share the thing we are here for: To create the good meal for the residents. You are flexible in your task solving, as at Ryholtgård we place a lot of emphasis on cross-collaboration in the house. We listen to the care staff about residents' wishes by making assessment forms that residents help fill in. We also collaborate with occupational therapists on dysphagia diets. You are involved in contributing input to the upcoming menu plan as well as ordering goods.

It is an advantage if you have experience from kitchens in nursing homes, but if you have the courage and interest to become skilled with us, then that is even more important.

We are a production kitchen delivering to four floors. There are two nutrition assistants now, and we are missing you, our new colleague, so we are three employees. We rotate on a weekly basis, so there is one colleague in hot, one in cold and one for other kitchen tasks.

As you can see, we at Ryholtgård are passionate about making lovely food from fresh organic ingredients. We work according to Copenhagen Municipality's Food and Meal Strategy 2025 and therefore have a natural focus on green and climate-friendly dishes, reducing food waste and increasing the organic percentage. We lift together towards the common goal of making a good effort for a safe, dignified and meaningful life for the residents. We are in the establishment phase as a profile care home for nature, and we are a home with focus on resident communities about activities in daily life.

Practical information

Ryholtgård is a small care home though located close to Mindelunden and lovely green areas. Here live 55 residents distributed on four floors. We have public transport close by.

Salary and terms of employment

Start preferably as soon as possible or January 1, 2027. The position is 37 hours per week with work every 3rd weekend. Working hours in the period 7.00 to 14.00-14.30.

Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local wage formation. We obtain a criminal record and take references in connection with employment.
