In Ikast-Brande Municipality, on 1 January 2027 we will open seven brand-new municipal Short-Term Placements, which will be located at Bøgildlund Care Centre.

We are therefore looking for curious, brave and caring social and health care assistants and social and health care helpers for day, evening and night shifts, who would like to be part of something new.

Who are we and whom will we help?

The seven municipal Short-Term Placements are aimed at citizens who temporarily need care and support that cannot be provided at home.

The target group will be

• Citizens who need a temporary respite stay under the Social Services Act § 84 or the Elderly Act § 16
• Citizens for whom help cannot be performed safely at home due to the staff's physical work environment
• Citizens who are waiting for a care home, and where care and treatment cannot be provided at home

It also means that we will have both short and longer placements, which will give a varied everyday life with citizens who have different needs for care, support and rehabilitative interventions.

The Short-Term Placements will become part of Bøgildlund Care Centre, where there will be close cooperation with the centre's other departments.

Your tasks

As a social and health care assistant or a social and health care helper, you will become an important part of the citizens' everyday life. Your tasks will include, among others:

• To create safety, calm and presence for citizens who find themselves in a temporary and perhaps vulnerable life situation
• To observe changes in citizens' condition and collaborate with relevant professionals on the appropriate intervention
• To work rehabilitatively and support citizens' independence and quality of life
• To provide care and nursing based on each citizen's needs and resources
• To document and contribute to continuity and quality in citizen pathways
• To contribute with your professional expertise, ideas and experiences when we together create good frameworks and workflows in our new department

The tasks will naturally be adapted to your professional competencies and areas of responsibility as a social and health care assistant or a social and health care helper.

Employment terms

We are seeking social and health care assistants and social and health care helpers for permanent positions in day, evening and night shifts.

The positions are based on 37 hours per week, but there is an option to request a different number of hours.

As a rule, there is weekend shift every 3rd weekend.

Start date: 1 January 2027
