Do you have experience as an occupational health and safety coordinator on construction projects – and do you thrive with both AMK-P and AMK-B?

At Sweco Energi we support the phasing out of natural gas for heating and the transition through a range of projects, where occupational health and safety coordination is an important part of the deliverable across all construction phases. We work on a broad portfolio of construction projects – from smaller tasks to larger projects with new supply areas.

You will become part of the Energy Team in the East, but will have a close collaboration with our colleagues in the West. We continuously develop methods and tools, and professional sparring and knowledge sharing is a natural part of daily work.

About the position

As an occupational health and safety coordinator you will be a central link across projects, clients and internal disciplines. Your main focus is the occupational health and safety coordination of whole projects or parts of larger projects, where your ability to manage internal and external stakeholders is crucial for a successful project process.

Your primary tasks will be to

• Perform occupational health and safety coordination during design (AMK-P).
• Perform occupational health and safety coordination during execution (AMK-B).
• Conduct safety rounds and safety meetings, including minutes.
• Coordinate common areas with contractors and update site plans.
• Ensure ongoing dialogue, stakeholder management and good coordination across the project’s parties.
• Depending on experience, interest and competencies; possibly also supervision and construction management.

The role is targeted at projects within district heating supply, and we would very much like you to also have experience with multiple supply sources so you can contribute with a broad understanding of occupational health across different supply types.

About you

You are clear in your communication and have a collaborative approach that builds trust on the construction site and in the design process. You can work in a structured way and follow up so the occupational health effort is concrete and usable for the project’s parties.

We imagine that you

• Have a relevant educational background and preferably a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an occupational health and safety coordinator.
• Have experience with both AMK-P and AMK-B.
• Have knowledge of occupational safety legislation and the Danish Working Environment Authority’s Order no. 117.
• Communicate confidently in Danish in both written and spoken form.
• Have hands-on experience with practical occupational health and safety coordination from the utilities sector – and preferably from multiple parts of the value chain (client, consultant and/or contractor).

It is not a requirement, but we would like you to have worked on projects involving multiple supply sources, and where coordination across actors and interfaces is a significant part of the task.
