About the job
Do you want to help strengthen wellbeing and the work environment in the Region of Southern Denmark, which has a great impact on the daily life of thousands of employees?
You will, among other things, have the responsibility to run the region's employee satisfaction survey with a lot of freedom to shape the content of the task solution – but you are not alone; you will be part of a department where we tackle the tasks together.
Your new everyday life
You, together with the rest of the occupational health and safety team, will be a central driving force and coordinator in the area of occupational health and safety in the Region of Southern Denmark. The team consists of 6 occupational health consultants, who in daily work collaborate closely across functions – and are always curious about each other and the world around them.
”In our department, we place community, professionalism, wellbeing and collaboration high on the agenda – it’s our DNA” says department head Jesper Stockmarr.
Your new role
You will, among other things, work on
- Drive an employee satisfaction survey (MTU) across the entire region
- Plan a health and safety conference that contributes to knowledge and concrete action in our organization
- Prepare decision briefs and develop initiatives that strengthen wellbeing and the work environment across the organization
You will be at the center of planning, coordinating and following up the MTU in close collaboration with your colleagues in the department, colleagues at e.g. hospitals and the MED system, and managers around the organization. It requires that you can navigate safely in a complex and large public organization.
In addition you will be responsible for planning the regional occupational health conference – from contact with speakers to drafting the program – and ensuring that the conference supports the region's approach to occupational health work.
You will also contribute to developing other initiatives aimed at wellbeing and the work environment broadly – at operational, tactical and strategic levels.
Finally, it will be a central task for you to prepare case memos and decision briefs for the management and the MED system, so there is a solid, well-founded basis for the strategic discussions and decisions in the occupational health area.
Who are you?
You have experience from a large organization. In addition to a solid occupational health background, you have experience in driving complex projects and initiatives.
You have a strong relational understanding, and invite with your curiosity, knowledge and interest to trust and collaboration internally as well as across units and professional domains. We therefore expect you to be proactive and take charge, while being outreach and inclusive in the task solving.
Moreover, you naturally operate at all levels of the organization, where you have an understanding of practice, but at the same time the ability to think strategically.
We also expect that
- You are structured and focused on both process and result
- You are good at identifying development potential, and have an eye for what creates value
- You thrive and navigate well in a daily life with changing tasks and an element of unpredictability
- You have strong communication skills in both writing and speaking, and manage to translate your professional knowledge onto paper in a language that reaches the stakeholders
