Occupational Therapist for Sundhedscenter Skive – Maternity Leave Cover

The position is 30 hours per week or as agreed with commencement on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team for citizens with acquired brain injury. At the same time you will be part of an occupational therapy team, responsible for rehabilitation and other occupational therapy tasks. At Sundhedscenter Skive you will have a wide range of multidisciplinary colleagues.

The intervention is planned in close collaboration with the citizen, their relatives and the colleagues in the team. The training takes place both individually, in groups at the Health Center and in the citizen's own home.

Your primary tasks

• to assess the citizen's training needs and plan a targeted intervention in collaboration with the citizen, based on each individual's goals, needs and possibilities
• to provide individual rehabilitation and group training at different levels
• to use relevant occupational therapy tools and methods
• to have a holistic view and initiate coherent, multidisciplinary pathways in close collaboration with the citizen and colleagues
• to train citizens in their own home and handle complex issues with significance for everyday life
• to be prepared that some tasks may take place late in the afternoon or early in the morning

We are looking for a colleague who

• meets the citizens with calm, empathy, flexibility and a positive and friendly approach
• communicates clearly and professionally – both verbally and in writing
• works independently, takes initiative and keeps an overview
• has experience with or professional competencies within rehabilitation of citizens with acquired brain injury – preferably supplemented with relevant courses in the neurological field

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement.

We will obtain a criminal record and child protection check. Employment is conditional on the attestations being compatible with the position.
