Occupational therapy and physiotherapy are seeking a physiotherapist for gastrointestinal and geriatric diseases

We are seeking a professionally engaged therapist who can work independently and maintain an overview in an exciting daily life. You should be willing to join a practice community with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors and nurses, where it is about solving everyday tasks for elderly diseases in Aabenraa.

As a therapist in Gastrointestinal and geriatric diseases you will in close collaboration with your colleagues assess and treat people with age-related diseases in the acute phase. In addition you will in the work focus on contributing with what creates value, flow and security in the patient journey out at the patient.

Your primary task will be to perform assessments of functional ability for the acute admission processes. In addition you will assess the need for treatment tools and ensure the good handover of the pathway to our municipal partners via, among other things, the preparation of rehabilitation plans. Based on the ICF the therapeutic assessment and intervention focuses especially on activities and the body's functions based on both the patient's health condition, but also with reference to the person's resources and surroundings.

Sønderjylland Hospital focuses on preparing for the future, which means that you must be prepared to be available for the interdisciplinary team, where preparation and documentation take place at the patient and in connection with the unfolding of the activities that are an integrated part of the patient pathway. In the documentation area further work is done with the integration of speech recognition to optimize the administrative aspect in patient pathways.

It would be an advantage if you have broad professional experience and familiarity with the short pathways at an acute hospital. You should want to improve yourself and be ready to participate in the development of workflows, but also of the therapeutic interventions in the area.

The position runs from January 1 or as soon as possible. You will work on weekdays and participate in weekend shifts.

The region is obligated to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be told base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the collective agreement for Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Midwives (collective agreement 33.21.1). In addition to the starting salary, the salary may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
