Could you imagine an exciting and versatile education within economics at Denmark's leading technical university? DTU has been ranked as Europe's best technical university in the last two years, and now you have the opportunity to become part of our economics team.
About the education
As an economics apprentice at DTU you will receive a broad and versatile education, and you will be part of the economics behind one of Europe's leading universities, where you support research, innovation and international projects.

The program gives you a strong foundation to continue working as for instance an accounting clerk or Project Controller. At the same time you gain practical experience with financial management in a large and complex organization and develop competencies that are in demand across both the public and private sectors.
We place great emphasis on your professional development and provide engaged and competent education supervisors. You will have a varied daily life in close collaboration with your colleagues, where you take joint responsibility and receive challenges that ensure your ongoing development.
At DTU you do not only get an apprentice position – you get a solid education in economics, responsibility and the opportunity to develop yourself professionally and personally in one of Denmark's largest and most complex financial functions.
Your background
Before the apprenticeship begins, you must have a certificate from one of these youth education programs: EUX, HHX or STX, HTX, HF supplemented with a 5-week EUS program in office work.

If you are over 25 years old, the same admission requirements apply, but the duration of the program and the number of specialist subjects may potentially be shortened. If you do not meet the requirements, you must contact a folk high school to obtain a recognition of prior learning (RPL).
We expect that you
- Are interested in economics and motivated to pursue a vocational education within the area
- Are familiar with the use of IT tools, especially Excel
- Have a good sense of humor and are service-minded, engaged and detail- and result-oriented
- Are flexible, ambitious and have good collaboration and communication skills

We are proud of our work, because we can see that we and our colleagues’ efforts push something forward in society. We are in AØR ambitious and skilled, and we are passionate about what we do. We believe that researchers’ and our own engagement is crucial for our success. We are a model example of efficient university administration that promotes teaching and research at world-class levels.
