On-call substitute sought

Are you good with children and young people, and do you thrive in a workday where you must be able to adapt, take responsibility and create good relationships?

We are seeking on-call substitutes who are clear and steady, yet approachable and relationship-building. You must be able to join in the tasks and plans laid out by the permanent teachers, but also be able to think independently and act when the day requires it.

It is important to us that you are affirming in your relation to both students and parents. We are looking for you who in your practice can focus on resources both with the individual and in the community.

You are curious, take responsibility and collaborate well with both students and colleagues. Experience with teaching or working with children and young people is an advantage, but not a requirement.

As an on-call substitute

You must be flexible and able to step in with short notice. Typically you will be notified a little after 7:00 a.m. and must be able to meet at 7:40 a.m., ready for teaching at 7:50 a.m.
