Operational team leader sought for day shift in the Triangle Region

Are you an experienced leader who thrives close to daily operations, and who is motivated by creating results through people?

We are seeking, on behalf of our partner, an operational team leader for day shifts at a cold storage warehouse in the Triangle area. You will play a central role in daily operations and become the natural link between the warehouse and the management.

This is a role for someone who leads from the front, takes ownership and gets things done.

Your role

You report directly to the warehouse manager and play an important role in the daily operation of the cold storage. You must be close to the employees, have an overview of the operation and at the same time be able to translate the management's goals into action on the floor.

You will, among other things, be

• Leading and following up on the daily operation
• Creating structure, direction and momentum in the department
• Being the link between the warehouse and management
• Following up on quality, efficiency and workflows
• Motivating employees and ensuring good collaboration
• Identifying improvement opportunities and helping to implement them
• Taking responsibility and making decisions in daily operations.

The work takes place in a cold storage facility, so you must be prepared to work in a cold environment.

We expect that you

It is a requirement that you can document previous experience in a leadership role in an operational position. The experience could be from warehousing, logistics, production or another operations-oriented company.

In addition, we expect that you

• Have experience with people management
• Are used to working closely with daily operations
• Can create structure and maintain an overview
• Are clear and natural in your communication
• Are willing to take responsibility and make decisions
• Are solution-oriented and action-oriented
• Want to develop both employees and operations.

Language

It is a requirement that you can communicate in

• Danish
• English
• Polish.

English must be at a level where you can communicate confidently in daily operations.

Working hours

• Day shifts.
