Educator 30/32 hours for SFO-Nymarken

Pedagogue 30-32 hours for SFO-Nymarken

We are seeking an engaged and academically strong pedagogue 30/32 hours per week, preferably a supervisor and with an interest in pedagogical sport/physical activity. SFO-Nymarken belongs to Nymarkskolen, which is a two- to three-track sports school located in Slagelse town. We have about 600 students, of whom about 250 attend SFO.

A little about the job

SFO-Nymarken is a certified Idræts-SFO, and pedagogical sport/physical activity is a natural part of daily life in SFO-Nymarken. We are a program for children from kindergarten to 3rd grade. The SFO is workshop-divided, and we place great emphasis on every child having the freedom to choose a workshop in the afternoon. We have gym and hall 3 times a week, and we have some lovely outdoor areas that invite for lots of exciting play-activity-movement.

All children in SFO have the opportunity to participate in an after-school activity at least once a week. These activities will be different themes, such as ball games, dance, apparatus gymnastics and similar, which will run for a given period, often with an instructor from outside.

We work closely with the junior school teachers, and all pedagogical staff are attached to one class team with a fixed meeting structure, and have weekly lessons in this class, together with a teacher. Teamwork and collegial feedback are essential for a good and developmental collaboration and are therefore highly valued, just as it is important to be able to collaborate across disciplines with various professionals.

SFO-Nymarken is open every day from 06:30 to 17:00, also during school holidays. If you want to help give Nymarkskolen's children a fun, different and physically active leisure time, and you can see yourself in the following, it may be you we are looking for.

We are looking for a qualified pedagogue who

• is academically strong, preferably a practical supervisor or has a wish to become one
• is stable and robust
• dare to turn thoughts into actions
• initiates activities together with the children
• with joy, engagement, high professionalism and relational skills is ready and willing to join in close collaboration to create learning communities where all children thrive and develop personally, socially and academically
• thinks of sport/movement as a natural part of SFO
