About the job

Are you a pedagogue, occupational therapist, social and health assistant, social and health helper, or do you have experience as a care assistant? At Trekløveret in Hinnerup we are looking for someone who can see themselves in the work with adults with autism and development disabilities, and who wants to bring what you can contribute into a cross-disciplinary community.

One of our skilled colleagues has for personal reasons chosen to leave, and we are therefore now looking for you who would like to become part of a staff group where you get dedicated and professionally skilled colleagues, and where we believe that we can only succeed in providing citizens with the best conditions for as independent a life as possible when we work together.

With us, diversity in professional backgrounds is a strength. Citizens' needs cross traditional professional boundaries. Therefore, we need staff who see things differently, can do different things, and dare to bring their perspectives into play. Maybe you have a keen eye for structure, communication and pedagogical approaches. Maybe you are focused on activity, senses and everyday mastery. Maybe you have strong health-professional competences and a sense for changes in the citizen’s physical health.

Or perhaps you have developed a strong understanding of relationship work and how to create calm, security and good moments in daily life through experience. The important thing is that your view of people matches ours, that you contribute with what you can, and that you are curious about what your colleagues can do.

The primary task with us is to support the citizens’ everyday life, where they experience a high degree of predictability and at the same time are grasped when daily life becomes unpredictable. We are curious about what lights your fire, and as long as it matches the citizens’ enrolments and support needs, we are willing to be creative.

We offer, in return

  • An relaxed atmosphere, engaged colleagues and a high degree of trust in one another
  • A leadership that prioritizes creating the right conditions for your professional development and a leadership that values a safe work environment with well-being and balance between work life and private life
  • Good transport possibilities – the train runs to Hinnerup from Aarhus H in 15 minutes, and from the station it takes under 10 minutes on foot. Several regional buses also run from both Aarhus, Randers and Hadsten.
  • You will become part of a highly specialized organization with many development opportunities, including Autism Pilot Training, ongoing competence development, fixed supervision and professional guidance and counseling, theme days, self-determination and participation in various networks across the Special Area of Autism.

We are looking for you who

  • Know yourself and your reaction patterns so well that the citizen meets a calm staff member in any context
  • Are present and have a resource- and solution-oriented approach, where you see the person before the task
  • Are self-reflective, professionally grounded and can lead by example
  • Have the courage to bring your professional perspectives into play in the community and likewise support and adhere to colleagues’ perspectives and the agreed terms
  • Can collaborate in a welcoming way at many levels with residents, colleagues, relatives, management, cross-disciplinary and external partners
  • Can take initiative, are flexible, loyal and can stay calm in a changing everyday life where citizens have a large need for predictability while reality is changing
  • Can document systematically, clearly and concretely – we document both social and health-care aspects
  • Can work independently and monodisciplinarily and also participate in a team collaboration with cross-disciplinary teamwork
  • Bring positive energy into the collegial community

About us

Trekløveret in Hinnerup is part of the Special Area of Autism, which is Region Midtjylland’s specialized provision for adults with autism. Trekløveret is a residential community with social- and day-time support staff, targeted at autistic adults with developmental disabilities. We also have a strong health-professional focus, which is why we regard ourselves as a social- and health-professional offering. The residents at Trekløveret are currently between 33-73 years old. Residents at Trekløveret are admitted according to the General Housing Act §105 and the Social Services Act §85 or §108.

A common feature for the target group is that citizens need structure, predictability, clarity in communication and support to participate in social communities and in various ADL tasks. We collaborate with the residents to develop skills, establish appropriate structures and strategies that improve quality of life and create competencies for as independent a life as possible on their own terms.

All interventions are based on the values of the Special Area of Autism and the professional foundation . We work from the philosophy Nothing about us without us , which means that all interventions are in collaboration with the residents and take the residents’ wishes and dreams as their starting point. At Trekløveret some residents receive support for parts of personal care, but it is expected that the need for health-professional interventions will increase due to the age range among the citizens.

Our physical facilities consist of Trekløveret, which has three wings: Engstien, Ådalen and Seniorhuset. Trekløveret functions as a residential community where residents have their own 2-room apartment and shared areas with opportunities for various activities. Trekløveret is located in quiet surroundings centrally in Hinnerup. We share the area and collaborate with our neighbor, who is another department in the Special Area of Autism, and our internal activity and employment offering, where most citizens are registered.

At Trekløveret we work in 3 teams, each with a team coordinator. The 3 teams each consist of 4-5 employees and about 6-7 residents.

Terms of employment

At Trekløveret we have varied working hours that include day, evening and weekend work. Weekend work is every 3rd weekend.

In addition there will be team meetings, joint staff meetings, theme days and follow-up meetings with citizens, which we expect you to participate in.

With us you have influence over your own schedule, and we strive to ensure the work plan matches your private life, because we believe mutual flexibility strengthens job satisfaction and benefits the citizens.
