About the job

School Pedagogue at Broager School

Broager School seeks a present and engaged school pedagogue for a fixed-term position

There are moments in school when everything comes together in a higher unity

When a child succeeds at something that used to be difficult. When a game on the playground evolves into a community that everyone can be a part of. When you see a student find the courage to raise their hand – for the first time.

If you know how much that matters, and if you are motivated by creating security, development and good communities, then you might be our new school pedagogue.

We are looking for a trained pedagogue for a 34-hour position in the general area with starting January 1, 2027 to July 31, 2027 .

About the job – and the everyday life you will enter

As a school pedagogue at Broager School you will become an important part of the children's school day. Your task is to create coherence between teaching and well-being, help strengthen the class communities, and support the students in their social and personal development.

Your day will consist of

  • supportive teaching and pedagogical support in the classes
  • relationship work with the students – both one-to-one and in groups
  • contributing to a strong and inclusive community in the class and year group
  • close collaboration with teachers and colleagues about the children, their well-being and development

You will have a daily life where no day is exactly the same – and where your ability to create calm, structure and presence makes a decisive difference.

We are looking for someone who

  • is a trained pedagogue and passionate about children's learning, well-being and development
  • thrives in early schooling and among children aged 6–12
  • is good at creating activities – preferably both creative and physical
  • can build strong relationships and see each individual child's needs
  • works inclusively and strengthens the class's community
  • is clear, caring and can create safe frameworks
  • values teamwork and contributes actively to it
  • wants a everyday life where you succeed together and learn together
  • thrives in different tasks, as the timetable varies with tasks

You do not need experience with all tasks from the start – the most important is that you meet the children with warmth, engagement and curiosity.

At Broager School you will get

  • a well-functioning public school with good physical surroundings and lots of space for play and learning, a school with about 510 wonderful students
  • a workplace surrounded by beautiful nature close to Flensborg Fjord
  • a strong collegial community with both experienced and new staff
  • a mentor who supports you closely in the startup period
  • good teaching materials and skilled professional supervisors
  • an After-School Program (SFO) with many opportunities and freedom to develop new activities
  • a culture characterized by trust, humor and a safe working environment
