Educator for Hvepsereden/Midgaarden - Maternity Leave Cover

Are you a pedagogue, and would you like to become part of the team at Hvepsereden/Midgaarden? Then it might be you we are looking for.

Department Hvepsereden is looking for a pedagogue for a parental leave replacement in our kindergarten. The position starts on January 4, 2027 and is expected to run until the end of 2027.

In Hvepsereden we are a small house with close relationships and a strong sense of community. We currently have 9 toddlers and 22 kindergarten children. The position is in the kindergarten, where you will become part of an engaged team consisting of two pedagogues and a pedagogical assistant. Together we work purposefully to create well-being, development, learning and strong child communities.

We are academically ambitious, present and aware of the importance we have in the children’s lives. We believe that secure relationships are the foundation for children’s development, and we therefore prioritise presence, care and recognition in daily life. With us, children meet adults who are present, follow their initiatives and create learning environments where all children feel they belong.

We are looking for a pedagogue who

• Can create and maintain close relationships with both children and parents
• Is energetic, engaged and reflective
• Contributes to a daily life with structure, quality and lots of good experiences
• Is professionally well-founded and works purposefully with the strengthened curricula
• Ideally has knowledge of The Brain & The Heart , The Herning Model and The Language Staircase
• Loves to sing and wants to use singing as an educational tool in daily life
• Has an overview, is adaptable and can create structure
• Can plan, convey and evaluate both orally and in writing
• Works independently, is proactive and trusts their own competencies
• Sees opportunities rather than limitations
• Is stable, flexible, loyal – and not least has a sense of humour
• Can work within opening hours 06:15–16:45
