About the job

At Christmas we will be around 80 children aged 0-6 years. We are 8 educators and seven teaching assistants as well as a pedagogical leader, an area manager and an institutional manager. We are growing all the time and will become a large day care with many children and employees – therefore we need one more educator.

We have the most fantastic facilities both indoors and outdoors.

Our children are lovely, and the parent group supports and is engaged in the children’s everyday life. They actively participate in the events planned at the Children’s House.

It is important that you are an empathetic and presence-minded person who can guide, mentalize and have a mindset that gives the children the best framework for learning, development and formation.

You can “dare to let loose” and lead in the playful approach in everyday life.

You are professionally well-founded and can work with the Language Staircase and with the themes in KIDS. We also work systematically with sensory integration, which you may have knowledge of. You will always have a mentor and support in the professional work. This year we are working with “from the ground to the table” and have just received a lovely orangery where the children can play freely.

You focus on following the children’s perspectives and where wellbeing is decisive. Your time is primarily spent in dialogue with the children and guiding them toward independence, with a focus on their participation in daily routines and in communities.

You are passionate about and involve imagination, creativity, nature and singing/music in your pedagogical approach to the children.

About us

The day care center, normed to 110-120 children, is located in Torvegade in Give and has just been refurbished with lovely group rooms, inspiring play- and learning environments, and fantastic staff facilities.

As the institution is new, physical frames, pedagogical content, overall structure, organization and interior design will continue to develop in close collaboration with the entire staff group.

We are “one house” and help each other across child groups, tasks and activities. This means that we all contribute to the community and are accessible for the children – where we together ensure the children’s wellbeing every day.

The staff group consists of both experienced and newer educators as well as teaching assistants. Common to all is a high professional commitment, strong social skills and a great care for both children and colleagues. We have an informal tone and a clear job satisfaction, which positively affects both the working environment and the children’s wellbeing.

Information about starting salary

Employment takes place according to the agreement for pedagogues at day care centers, school leisure-time institutions, clubs, etc., §§4-9. The expected starting salary for full-time and excluding pension is 32,928 DKK / falls in the range of 32,928 DKK to 37,874 DKK depending on seniority. It should be noted that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
