Educator for Kongehøjskolens SFO – are you passionate about after-school pedagogy?

Are you keen to become part of the largest public school in Aabenraa Municipality, where leisure-time pedagogy, relationship work and strong communities are at the center – and where you as a pedagogue will have the opportunity to work in the after-school program (SFO) in an engaged and well-functioning team? We are seeking a trained pedagogue for a 30-hour fixed position with employment from January 1, 2027 or as soon thereafter.

About the workplace

You will become part of the largest public school in Aabenraa Municipality with 720 pupils and 120 staff.

We are a workplace with many different professional groups, working together to give the children a daily life that includes formation, teaching and well-being.

The lower school has 290 students distributed over three tracks per year group from 0th to 3rd grade. Our SFO offers a daily leisure-time provision for children from 0–3 grade, as well as a daily SFO2 offer for children from 4–6 grade.

About the job

The position is organizationally placed in the early years, and you will become part of our well-functioning SFO team, where after-school pedagogy is the central focus.

At Kongehøjskolen we regard the SFO as an important pedagogical offering – not only as a leisure-time provision, but also as part of the school's overall daily life, where the SFO is an equal educational partner. Our SFO is very much the place where the school meets parents in daily life, when the youngest children are dropped off and collected. It is children's well-being, learning and development that are our focus.

• are a trained pedagogue
• with commitment, professionalism and pedagogical drive will join our school – primarily in our SFO team, where we value job satisfaction and humor highly
• can see yourself in a work area that spans broadly – both regarding the children who use our SFO and the tasks that may also lie in the school section
• have a professional and affirming approach to your pedagogical work with a focus on relationship-building and care work, where the starting point is that the child does the best they can
• have competencies in, for example, the creative field or an active leisure-time pedagogy with movement, outdoor life and play as the focus
• can maintain overview and structure while collaborating on many varied tasks

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement.

There is a permanent position of 30 hours per week with employment from January 1, 2027 or as soon thereafter.
