Who are you, and what qualities do we expect?

We are looking for you who are either a trained pedagogue, pedagogical assistant, SSA or SSH and have the heart in the right place. You want to develop both yourself and the citizens' daily life with consideration, safety and perseverance. We expect that you meet the citizens at eye level and are able to see their strengths and resources – regardless of starting point.

You have a natural eye for structure and clear, egalitarian communication – both in relation to citizens and colleagues. You have good IT skills and actively work with documentation as part of your practice. Flexibility is important to us, and so is the ability to take initiative, follow up tasks to the end and intervene when necessary. We also expect that you have a driver's license and engage in the community across professions.

Your daily work and the neuro-pedagogical approach

With us you will support the citizens both practically and socially, with the aim of increasing their well-being and quality of life. The everyday life at Sankelmarksvej is characterized by structure, equal communication and support for social activities. You help the citizens through relationship work, where you focus on what succeeds – and celebrate those successes together with them.

You will among other things

• help and support the citizens with finances, relationships and conflict management
• support practical tasks such as tidying up, cleaning and shopping
• motivate and support for employment as well as structuring the individual daily life
• contribute to participation in social activities and communities
• take care of tasks related to personal hygiene and mobility
• work systematically with documentation and development of our pedagogical practice

We work from a neuro-pedagogical belief, where the individual citizen's resources, needs and interests are central; the focus is on the whole person. Quality of life and health are closely linked for us – therefore we always focus on both physical and mental well-being in the support we provide. Our citizens have very individual needs, therefore we care about structuring the days and creating predictability and security for all. Your workday will include transfers and personal care. Several of our citizens are nonverbal or require support in their communication.

We have three vacancies; two positions are 35 hours per week, and one is 30 hours per week - all three with working hours distributed across day, evening and every other weekend. Pay and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement for pedagogues.
