Parish Priest (kbf) in Hirtshals Pastorate, Hjørring Northern Deanery, Aalborg Diocese

The position as civil-servant employed parish priest in Hirtshals Pastorate, Hjørring Northern Deanery is available for occupancy on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position includes an obligation as church book registrar and funeral authority.

The position is a full-time position.

As a new parish priest you will receive an introduction program, where you will get a mentor who guides you through the initial period in office and familiarizes you with the different tasks for a priest.

The position is covered by the Regulation of the Act on appointment in positions in the Church of Denmark (LBK no. 676 of 13/7/2026)

The position is paid according to pay group 1 in the agreement on the remuneration of civil-servant priests in the Church of Denmark.

In addition to the base salary, a standby allowance is provided with a rounded base amount as of 31 March 2012 for a full-time position of DKK 43,000.00 annually. For part-time employment, the allowance will be calculated in proportion to the employment ratio.

The position is covered by the New Pay rules, therefore it is possible to request a salary negotiation.

There is a service housing attached to the position. The service home is located at Kirkevænget 1, 9850 Hirtshals.

The housing allowance for the service apartment excluding electricity, water and heating costs is currently kr. 4,330.58
