Parish priest in Slangerup Pastorat, Frederikssund Deanery, Helsingør Diocese

A civil servant employed parish priest position in Slangerup Pastorate, Frederikssund Provsti, is available for appointment on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is a full-time position.

As a new parish priest you will receive an introduction course, where you will have a mentor who guides you through the first period in the office and gets you closer to the various tasks that a priest has.

The position is covered by the Regulation on Parish Councils' involvement in the recruitment of priest and provost positions m.m. (BEK no. 1815 of 29/12/2025)

The position is remunerated according to pay group 1 in the agreement on the remuneration of civil servant priests in the Church of Denmark.

In addition to the salary, a standby allowance is provided with a rounded base amount as of 31 March 2012 for a full-time position of kr. 43,000.00 annually.

The position is covered by the New Pay rules, therefore it is possible to request a salary negotiation.

There is no service housing attached to the position.
