Grasp the opportunity to become part of an ambitious and professionally capable staff group. Vuggestuen Heimdalsvej is looking for an assistant from 1 November or as soon as possible. The position is, as a general rule, 37 hours for an assistant.

Vuggestuen Heimdalsvej is a small well-functioning nursery with 28 children distributed over 2 rooms. We are 5 educators, 3 assistants, 1 shift-student and 1 pedagogical leader. We see ourselves as a house where we work closely together with a focus on the core task.

Your profile

We are looking for an assistant who

• Has a desire to work with 0-3-year-old children.
• Participates in children’s play.
• Has a good overview and engagement.
• Can work independently, in a structured way and take initiatives in everyday life.
• Is curious and can ask questions, take guidance and want to learn new things.
• Has a present, acknowledging and respectful approach.
• Is positive, welcoming and reliable.

We have an engaged parent group with whom we prioritize daily verbal communication, just as AULA is an important tool in conveying the child’s everyday life, as well as our pedagogical considerations.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting takes place after negotiations with the union authorized to negotiate, based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement which can form the basis for salary determination

Weekly hours: 37 hours

About us

Vuggestuen Heimdalsvej is part of Gl. Åby day care with 9 departments. We are a small house with 28 children attached to Blue and Red rooms where the children have their base. We live in an old villa in a residential area in Åbyhøj with a lovely and easy-to-manage playground. We are often on trips in our cargo bike and are happy to be outdoors all year round. Our main focus is to create wellbeing, development and security for all children.
