Pedagogical leader for the Krummerne kindergarten – a small oasis in Inner Nørrebro and an outpost in the picturesque Jægerspris

Are you passionate about professional leadership and quality in early childhood education? But we need a leader who helps with boundaries, direction, shared knowledge and learning, and who ensures that we translate ambitions into the everyday practice.

We are looking for an educational leader who is ambitious on behalf of the children and the staff. In Krummerne there is a lot that works well, and the task is therefore to create stability, continuity as well as room and motivation so that all staff develop their professional and personal competences for the benefit of the work community.

We are seeking a leader who can support the work with inclusive learning environments, where the children get the opportunity to experience themselves as meaningful and independent individuals.

We are an institution with a good work community and a well-functioning structure that places high value on play, community, good interaction and outdoor life. We would like to further develop our pedagogy together with an academically skilled leader who can be a professional beacon and spar with the staff as well as have a desire to contribute with new ideas.

The leadership job also involves you being able to juggle and not least prioritise in the many tasks. In addition to professional leadership, staff leadership and parent collaboration, you must also take on administrative tasks and have an overall view for both the nursery, kindergarten and outreach – the latter you will lead in close cooperation with your leadership colleague from Sølund, with whom we share outreach. You will become leader for 16 staff members.

About you – our new leader

• You are educated as a pedagogue and have leadership experience
• You have experience from both nursery and kindergarten
• If you do not have a leadership education, we hope you are prepared to pursue one in due course

We are looking for you who lead through dialogue, involvement, participation and contribution thinking. Constructive dialogue, listening and responsiveness are keywords, and you should master them with respect to the children, the parents and the staff.

You can create security and trust in the work community through openness, and you are present and accessible. In addition, it is important that you dare to disturb and ask questions about practice – and that you can create a culture where the staff dare to do the same.

You should want to develop your own leadership both professionally and personally, and you can work strategically and analytically with professional and leadership tasks.

Krummerne is an institution that, over the last six years, has had a fair amount of leadership changes. We are therefore looking for a leader who can see themselves in the job for a longer period, and who can approach the task with curiosity and respectful towards staff, parents and children, who all desire stability and close professional leadership.

About Krummerne

We are a small oasis in Nørrebro with 50 kindergarten children and 24 nursery children. We are normed for 36 nursery children, but currently have only two nursery groups, as we have chosen to close the other one to ensure that we have skilled staff for the enrolled children.

The kindergarten is a partly outreach kindergarten, which alternates for 14 days in the city and 14 days in the countryside in Jægerspris. When we are in the countryside, we share the house with Sølund, which is also part of our cluster, and we have many joint activities. Krummerne is part of Cluster B in the North area, which consists of five day-care institutions.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. Start date January 1, 2027.

In connection with the employment, we will obtain child welfare and criminal records checks as well as references.
