Pedagogical staff for a new nursery start-up in Aarup

Do you have a heart for children aged 0-2 years, and are you passionate about creating learning environments with presence, security and bodily expression? Are you professionally curious, and do you want to develop yourself both professionally and personally? And would you like to help start a nursery from the ground up? We are very much looking forward to welcoming you as our new colleague in the Daycare in Aarup.

Due to an increased number of children in Aarup, we will establish a nursery with 12-15 places in the Drømmebakken day care center.

If there is an educational entrepreneur in you with a good overview and professional awareness of 0-2 year pedagogy, we would very much like to receive an application from you. If you are ‘just’ excited to be part of the project, you are also very welcome.

In the first instance, we will need 2 educators, one pedagogical assistant and one teaching assistant for the nursery. Please indicate in your application which of the positions you are interested in.

There is a start date from January 1, 2027.

About us The nursery will be a close part of the Drømmebakken day care center, which also has a preschool group with about 60 children, as well as a small group from the special provision Solsikken. In addition, the Daycare in Aarup includes 12 childminders, a nursery with 30 children, the Special Group Solsikken with 22 children and another preschool with 60 children. In total 3 sites + the childminders, who together aim to create the best possible framework for the 0-6 year old children in Aarup.

Overall, the Daycare in Aarup offers good physical surroundings and excellent opportunities for activities, excursions and learning environments that awaken the children’s curiosity both indoors and outdoors.

It is easy to get to and from Aarup by car, bus and train, and all our day care centers are within walking distance of stops and the train station. We strive to be flexible in working hours in relation to public transport.

In the new nursery, we will lean on pedagogy and structures that work in the current nursery.

We always maintain heightened attention to the child in the attachment phase as well as in the transition to kindergarten.

We prioritise professional leadership and professional discussions and pedagogy tailored to children in vulnerable positions, both locally and in good and close cooperation with PPR and the Children and Family Department in Assens Municipality.

About you and the positions We are looking for pedagogical staff, including 2 with teaching qualifications. We hope to attract experience for the task, but we also welcome applicants who are just newly trained.

Salary and terms of employment Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with applicable collective agreements and based on rules for local salary formation.
