About the job

Would you like to be part of the world's largest humanitarian organization, where compassion is the core value, and do you have a strong commitment to creating safety and well-being for children in vulnerable life situations – in a different and truly special workplace where your efforts make a noticeable difference every day?

The Danish Red Cross asylum department is seeking a pedagogue or educational staff member for the Kindergarten at the Reception Center Sandholm.

Sandholm is a reception center for asylum seekers in Denmark and houses both singles and families with and without children. The children come from very diverse backgrounds, which places a demand on high pedagogical professionalism and strong relationship skills.

The pedagogical work is based on the Asylum Pedagogy – an affirming and structured approach with a focus on safety, relationships and the well-being of children.

You will become part of a professional and experienced team with a focus on professional collaboration and shared pedagogical practice.

Our overarching task is to create a safe, meaningful and dignified everyday life with future prospects for the children while they are in the asylum phase.
