Do you want to help create the best framework for about 350 young people?

At Glamsdalens Idrætsefterskole, buildings, sports facilities, and outdoor areas are much more than bricks and a lawn. They are the framework of a year at an efterskole filled with community, development, experiences, and sport.

We are seeking, as of 1 January 2027, an engaged and practically strong janitor who wants to be a part of the school's daily operations and maintenance and at the same time be a visible part of the efterskole's everyday life.

Your role

As a janitor at Glamsdalen you will play a central role in ensuring that students, staff, and guests encounter a school that functions and presents itself invitingly every single day.

You will become an important part of the school's staff group and will have great influence to plan and prioritize your tasks yourself. At the same time you will be part of a lively efterskole environment where relationships and collaboration are as important as the practical tasks.

Your tasks

• Daily operation and maintenance of the school's buildings and facilities
• Supervision of technical installations and systems
• Smaller craft-based repairs and maintenance tasks
• Maintenance of outdoor areas, green spaces and sports facilities
• Preparation for events of various kinds
• Contact and coordination with craftsmen and external partners
• Participation in smaller construction, renovation and development projects
• Occasional practical tasks in the school's everyday life
• Cleaning as a fixed part of the duties

There may be occasional evening and weekend tasks.
