Physics and Mathematics Teacher with an Interest in Outdoor Life for Strandby School

We are looking for a committed teacher for Strandby School with starting date of 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. If you have the opportunity to start earlier, that is also an option.

We need a flexible and academically strong teacher who can lead to the physics/chemistry exam, teach mathematics at the intermediate level, and take care of our outdoor elective.

Your view of children should be resource-oriented, and you should take pride in meeting the students where they are, academically, socially and in terms of development. We emphasise that you are eager to actively participate in collaboration with students, colleagues and parents.

About Strandby School

Strandby School is a two-track school with about 430 students from grades 0-9 and around 45 staff.

We are a school in development with a good working environment. We prioritise a culture where staff and management speak openly about both what works and the challenges we encounter in daily life. There must be room for professionalism, diversity and for trying new things.

Our approach to school development is based on the local and relational aspects. At the same time, we place emphasis on being in close interaction with the local community and the world around us.

And we have some very special surroundings: Strandby School is located only 100 metres from both forest and beach, which provides good opportunities to bring the surroundings into play during the school day – not least in outdoor.

If you would like to become part of the team, we look forward to receiving your application.

Child and criminal record checks will be obtained in connection with the employment.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement.
