At Egehøj we are looking for an engaged physiotherapist who wishes to make a difference for adults with significant physical and mental functional impairments.

Egehøj is in an exciting development. We work targeted to strengthen our professional foundation, create a strong work community and ensure high quality in the efforts around the citizens. Therefore we are seeking a physiotherapist who wants to put their professional expertise into play and contribute to the future of Egehøj.

Who are we?

Egehøj is a residential facility in Bjerringbro with room for 22 residents spread across three houses: Albo, North and South. Currently there are 19 residents at the facility.

With us the citizens are at home, and we are guests. We therefore always meet each individual with respect, dignity and a focus on resources rather than limitations.

What does your role entail?

You will become part of the daily operations at Egehøj and participate on equal terms with your colleagues in the tasks around the residents.

The residents receive among other things support for

• Social interaction and communities
• Leisure activities and activity offers
• Development and maintenance of skills
• Communication
• Personal hygiene and daily tasks
• Health and well-being
• Accompaniment to activities and appointments

As a physiotherapist we also expect you to contribute with special competencies within

• Movement and functional capacity
• Transfer and ergonomics
• Guidance on assistive devices
• Maintenance of physical resources
• Interdisciplinary sparring about residents' well-being and development

You are not hired as a treating physiotherapist, but as part of a specialized residential facility where your physiotherapeutic professionalism strengthens the overall effort around the residents.

Practical information

The position is 30-37 hours per week by agreement.

Working hours are distributed over day and evening shifts, and weekend work every third weekend should be expected.

Salary and terms of employment

The salary is set based on the applicable collective agreement and a concrete assessment of your education, your documented work experience and your professional and personal qualifications.
