We are seeking physiotherapists for permanent positions physically located at Bytoften with start date December 1, 2026.

We are in the midst of an exciting development. In accordance with the health reform, the specialized area is transferred from the municipality to the region on January 1, 2027. This means that you will become part of an organization in transformation – with the opportunity to make your professional mark, contribute to the development of rehabilitation at a specialized level and be part of an important journey for citizens, employees and partners.

Who are we?

We work with citizens after discharge from hospital stays, where the length of stay depends on each citizen's development potential – typically a three-month course. In rehabilitation we work towards the individual citizen becoming active and participating in their future life based on their own resources, wishes and needs, and in close collaboration with relatives.

You will be part of a dynamic, engaged and interdisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, social and health care assistants, neuropsychologist, speech and language pathologist and chief physician. We work targeted and specialized with rehabilitation plans for each citizen and focus on supporting citizens to become active participants in their own lives.

Your tasks

As a physiotherapist with us you will work with treatment and rehabilitation of citizens with acquired brain injury, who may have both physical and cognitive consequences. There is also a strong emphasis on interprofessional and cross-sector collaboration.

• Treatment and specialized rehabilitation of citizens with complex neurological problems
• Development and follow-up of individual rehabilitation plans in close interdisciplinary collaboration
• Involvement of the citizen and relatives as central partners throughout the process
• Contributing to cross-sector collaboration with municipalities and other actors

About you

We are looking for someone who

• Is professionally engaged, curious and eager to work with people with acquired brain injury and complex issues in a rehabilitative daily life.
• Is interested in, and preferably experienced with, neurorehabilitation and complex pathways.
• Sees neuro-pedagogical strategies as a natural part of the task.
• Has good collaboration skills, thrives in team work, seeks sparring and values interdisciplinary cooperation.
• Is proactive and capable of independently planning and prioritizing your own tasks.
• Communicates clearly both orally and in writing and thrives in collaboration with citizens and relatives.
• Moves effortlessly between monodisciplinary and interdisciplinary tasks, even when everyday life requires quick shifts. At the same time, contribute actively to a good working environment together with your interdisciplinary colleagues.

It is advantageous if you have a driving license, but not a requirement, as rehabilitation for some citizens will also take place in the citizen's own home.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the field. With reference to the Childcare Certificate Act in connection with the employment of staff, etc., a childcare certificate will be obtained in connection with possible employment. Employment is with Region Midtjylland with service initially at Hospitalsenhed Midt, Regional Hospital Hammel Neurocenter.

About Day and Night Rehabilitation-Herning at Region Hospital Hammel Neurocenter

From January 1, 2027 there will be 10 day rehabilitation places and up to 6 citizens who live at home and alternately come in for Day Rehabilitation-Herning to receive day rehabilitation and receive rehabilitation at home. We work with citizens after discharge from hospital stays, where the length of stay depends on the individual's development potential – typically a three-month course.

The position is, as a rule, a full-time position.
