Platform Engineer – be part of building the next generation of our digital platform

We are in the process of transforming our technological foundation to a modular, channel-agnostic architecture. Therefore we are looking for a Platform Engineer who will help build the common services, APIs and tools that make it faster and easier for our stream-aligned teams to develop and deliver solutions for our CMS and apps.

As a Platform Engineer you will become part of our new platform team, which will both build new technical building blocks and continuously improve the way we develop software as well as optimize and maintain our development platform.

Du vil bl.a.

• Develop platform components such as Core API, login, CI/CD and observability
• Improve the developer experience through automation, tooling and new practices
• Contribute to a modular architecture where functionality and data are clearly separated and accessible via APIs
• Ensure ongoing maintenance of common components

You will play a central role in both modernizing an existing platform and building a future-proof foundation to support the ongoing development of member-facing digital solutions.

De vigtigste opgaver

• Design and develop common platform services and components
• Improve DevX, so teams can deliver quickly and safely, e.g. with automation and the use of AI
• Automate infrastructure and deployment
• Work with quality, testing and observability
• Collaborate closely with development teams and translate their needs into concrete solutions
• Ensure updates and maintenance of the development platform

An important part of the role is the ability to explain and communicate technical choices so that other teams can understand and apply them.

We are seeking a Platform Engineer with solid technical understanding, a desire to work with platform and enablement and motivation to learn together with others.

We imagine that you

• Have solid computer science knowledge and can work effectively with both new development and refactoring
• Have experience with software development and a desire to work closer to platform, architecture and developer experience
• Can combine abstract thinking with concrete delivery
• Have worked in one or more of the following areas: backend, APIs, integrations, modernization, modularization, automation, IaC or modern software development practices
• Are curious about improving the developer experience and making it easier for other teams to reach their goals
• Thrive in collaboration, share your knowledge and contribute to a culture where you can freely ask questions, learn and grow together
• Can explain technical issues clearly and communicate professional decisions so that others can act on them
• Proficient in Danish as the working language, both spoken and written.

We are in the process of a transformation toward a headless, API-first architecture with a focus on modularization and cloud-native deployment on GCP. We are not there yet, so an important part of the role is to help drive the development forward. We work, among other things, with Headless Sitecore, React, Next.js, C#/.NET, APIs, test automation, GitHub/Azure DevOps, Docker, Terraform and GCP. You do not need to know all technologies, but you are keen to learn the relevant parts of the platform.

You may have a longer technical education, but we value relevant experience, good judgment and a willingness to learn just as highly. We emphasize that you meet others with respect, ask good questions and contribute to creating clarity about possibilities, solutions and the next steps.
