Private Banker / Senior Private Banker for a growing market in Zealand

As a Private Banker at Jyske Bank you will be responsible for advising and developing a portfolio of Private Banking clients. You will also be part of a department with strong client inflow and have the opportunity to help develop our position on Zealand.

About the role

Jyske Bank has for the 11th year in a row been named “Best in Private Banking” by Voxmeter. As our new Private Banker you will be part of turning that position into valuable customer experiences and long-term relationships.

You will be responsible for servicing and developing a portfolio of affluent private clients and business owners. Your professional focus will be holistic advisory in wealth, pension, investment and Jyske Bank's asset management solutions.

In the role you will among other things

• conduct advisory meetings with affluent private clients and business owners
• identify clients' needs and translate complex financial circumstances into clear recommendations
• advise on wealth, pension, investment and asset management solutions
• systematically follow up and develop relationships with existing clients
• build relationships with new Private Banking clients
• coordinate holistic advisory with business partners, private advisors and investment advisors
• contribute professional sparring and knowledge in the team

You do not have credit responsibility for the clients. It sits with the business partner or the private advisor. You can therefore focus on the client relationship and the specialized advice, while assembling the relevant expertise around the client’s overall finances.

The market area covers from Kalundborg across to Slagelse, Holbæk and Ringsted as well as southern Zealand and the islands. We experience client inflow across the area and want to welcome even more clients.

Your focus will be on the northern part of our market area. Here you will closely collaborate with the local branches to develop existing relationships and welcome new Private Banking clients.

Your profile

You may be an experienced Private Banker or Senior Private Banker, ready for independent portfolio responsibility. You could also be an experienced private-, pension- or wealth advisor, looking to develop into Private Banking.

We do not necessarily expect you to know everything from day one. You have a relevant educational foundation, for example Wealth Advisor education or an equivalent background. We will in collaboration clarify which additional education or professional training best fits your current level of experience.

Department and team

You will become part of Private Banking Zealand, which consists of 11 colleagues. The team works purposefully with clear objectives and gives each person the freedom to solve the task based on the client's needs.

In daily work we draw on each other's experiences, which means you will be part of a professional environment where we share knowledge about client cases, brainstorm solutions and collaborate with colleagues from the bank's other business areas.

Since clients and partners are located in different places on Zealand, much of your daily work will take place out in the market area. You will however have a base in our modern bank building in Næstved, which Private Banking shares with colleagues from the bank's other business areas. It provides good opportunities for daily sparring and cross-functional collaboration.
