Procurement lawyer for the Health and Care Administration

Our skilled procurement lawyer is changing administration and we are therefore seeking a new colleague who can ensure the procurement-related quality, advise colleagues in the department as well as across the administration and participate in projects in collaboration with subject matter experts, suppliers and other administrations. We are a small department that places emphasis on a nice and constructive atmosphere, where we help each other to create good solutions for the benefit of Copenhagen residents.

Department of Procurement in the Health and Care Administration's Center for Economy and Buildings is seeking a procurement lawyer to work with procurements and contracts. We are eight academic staff with various professional profiles and many years of practical experience with procurement and purchasing. You will be the sole lawyer in the department, but at the same time also part of the municipality's procurement law network across administrations.

The City of Copenhagen uses category management, so we collaborate and coordinate across the administrations' purchasing functions. Therefore we are seeking a person who can relate to data and procurement rules and at the same time be a good and responsive partner for the professional centers, operating units and colleagues in the procurement organization across the administrations.

About us

The Health and Care Administration mainly deals with offerings in the elderly sector under the elderly, social and health legislation and with activities within health promotion and prevention.

The Department of Procurement is among other things responsible for contracts with private providers of home care services (the free choice area) and for the procurement category 'Goods for the Health Sector'. In addition, the department participates in a wide range of tenders for goods and services for the Health and Care Administration's professional centers and across the municipality's administrations. Some tasks are solved individually. Others we do together. In any case, we are good at using each other for help and sparring.

About you

You have a long higher education in procurement law. Likely you already have experience with the purchasing area and preferably from the legal profession. You have an eye for the whole and can plan and manage projects and supplier collaborations so you reach the goal, and the participants are also happy to join next time you call.

You are passionate about ensuring procurement agreements that are advantageous for climate, environment and economy and that support that safety and collaboration around citizens has the highest focus, so citizens receive the service that has been decided, and employees have the framework to do a good job. You have good communication skills and can formulate common solutions and write a requirements specification or a memo. You are both a good team player and can work independently.

Terms of employment

The position is a permanent full-time appointment with start on December 1, 2026. Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation.
