Project Manager with technical background for coordination of assembly – Max Fodgaard in Hvidovre

At Max Fodgaard we are looking for a project manager who can combine technical understanding with structure and good collaboration skills. You will have a central role in collaboration with the installation team, where you contribute to planning and coordinating crane installations on larger construction sites.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

As a project manager at Max Fodgaard you will be responsible for the technical coordination and planning of crane installations on larger construction sites across Zealand.

You will become an important link between installers, engineers, sales and service departments as well as external partners. You will have a central role in planning and coordinating the installers' work, but without personnel responsibility. Your task is to ensure that the projects are carried out efficiently with a focus on quality, safety and adherence to schedules.

Your main tasks include

• Planning and management of crane installations at construction sites.
• Booking, coordination and time management of 2–3 installers.
• Handling of work permits and necessary safety approvals.
• Coordination of equipment, lifts and freight transport in connection with the installations.
• Close collaboration with engineers, sales, service and external partners.
• Preparation of progress reports, documentation and ensuring a correct basis for invoicing.
• Participation in construction meetings, mainly in Kalundborg, but also other locations on Zealand. Meetings are typically held a couple of times a week starting around 6:30–7:00.

You will have an independent and versatile role with many points of contact, where your ability to plan, coordinate and maintain an overview will be decisive for ensuring the projects are completed successfully.

YOUR PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL BACKGROUND

We imagine that you have a practical technical background and several years of experience with technical project work. You are used to taking responsibility and thrive in a dynamic daily life with varying tasks, while maintaining an overview and ensuring high quality in your work.

We particularly emphasize that you

• Have an education as a fitter, industrial technician, plumber, electrician, marine engineer or similar.
• Have 3–5 years of experience from similar positions.
• Work in a structured way, are quality-conscious and good at maintaining an overview.
• Communicate well in both Danish and English, as you will also have contact with international actors.
• Have a flair for IT and are familiar with documentation and administrative tasks.
• Are reliable, responsible and have natural engagement in your work.
• Thrive in a coordinating role where you create an overview, ensure progress and have a flexible approach to the few practical tasks that may arise.

You do not need a formal project management qualification, but it is important that you have experience taking responsibility for technical tasks and ensuring that they are followed through.

As a person you are independent, solution-oriented and collaborative. You naturally take responsibility, communicate clearly and are able to build good relationships with colleagues and external partners.
