Project Manager of digital HR projects

Are you a strong project manager within HR, IT or digitization, and are you passionate about creating results at the intersection of Digitization and HR? Then you have the opportunity to become part of a professional team in Corporate HR.

The tasks in HR digitization are diverse and exciting. Right now you will become a vital part of these projects:

• Procurement and implementation of a system for recruitment and onboarding
• Implementation and rollout of a new system for recruitment and onboarding in close collaboration with super-users in hospitals and the social sector
• Management of the system for performance reviews/employee dialogues
• Contribute to the overall portfolio management, supplier management and development work in the Salary, Personnel and System Optimization office

Region Midtjylland is currently preparing a tender for a system for recruitment and onboarding. We have conducted “as-is” workshops and we are moving towards the requirements description. Your role will be to manage the HR side of the procurement project in close cooperation with the project manager from Digitization and IT and to participate in supporting the steering group for the procurement project. You will also become an active part of the implementation of the new systems and modules.

Internal partners in Region Midtjylland are highly engaged and contribute to projects, tenders and tasks. It is especially colleagues from the HR departments at the hospitals and in the social sector who are our close partners. There is also close collaboration with Digitization and IT, Corporate Communications as well as Procurement and Medical Technology.

The suppliers of HR systems are also partners. You will take a role in product management and supplier management, which is a natural part of system ownership and in the development cooperation we continuously have with our suppliers.

The tasks are both complex and exciting. They require commitment, and we hope that you

• Have experience in project management of digitization, preferably with HR processes
• Have a strong understanding of organizations, which you bring into play in projects and in everyday work
• Have good communication skills and relational competencies

Have insight into HR processes and be able to translate wishes, requirements and needs between professionals, HR departments, suppliers and Digitization and IT. Your role as both project manager and intermediary requires communication and insight. You do not know everything, but you are eager to learn and actively engage in collaboration with the nearest team.

A little about us

Corporate HR handles payroll and personnel administration for about 6,700 employees in Region Midtjylland. This includes employees in regional house administrations, shared functions, in the social sector and within the Prehospital Services and the Hospital Pharmacy. In addition, we pay pension benefits to about 3,700 civil servants. We also have strategic and coordinating tasks regarding payroll and working-time planning systems across the region, as well as a wide range of staff and secretarial tasks.

The department is characterized by a good working environment and an informal tone. We are busy, but we take time to help each other and spar on tasks and approaches in everyday life.

You will have your workplace in Corporate HR, Regional House in Viborg, which is characterized by a good working environment and an informal tone with room for professional and personal development. You will have significant influence on your own work scheduling.

The position is 37 hours per week. We offer flex-time and there is the possibility to work from home to some extent.

Employment from January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
